Newman Galleries is Moving Forward

July 26, 2011

To Our Valued Clients, Consignors and Artists:

In light of the on-going economic climate and subsequent changes in the art market, Newman Galleries has leased the first floor of our gallery to a leading retail clothing store.  We will continue to maintain our gallery space on the second floor with the display window on Walnut Street and the entrance on Moravian Street.

The changing art market reflects not only on the economy but also the increasing dominance of the Internet.  Our website, www.newmangalleries.com, has been a major area of activity in recent years.  We continue to update the images with our most recent acquisitions and are pleased to hear of your interest.

In addition to our gallery space here, we are anticipating exhibiting at our 2306 South Street facility and are currently taking appointments there.  It is a convenient area adjacent to University City, the Naval Square complex and the expressway.

Newman Galleries has changed locations several times during our 146 years in Philadelphia and continues to prosper.

We look forward to our continued service to you in all of your art needs, acquiring works of art, custom framing and the restoration of paintings and prints.

Please contact us with any questions or comments at 215.563.1779 or info@newmangalleries.com

Sincerely,

NEWMAN GALLERIES
