Two great art institutions, the Philadelphia Sketch Club and Newman Galleries, join together this year to bring you the 2009 Philadelphia Sketch Club Members' Exhibition. The exhibition will be held at Newman Galleries, 1625 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, from June 6 through July 3, 2009. The reception for the exhibition will be on Saturday, June 6, from Noon to 4 pm. Admission is free.
Since its founding in 1860, the Philadelphia Sketch Club's membership has included many of the finest artists in America. In its 2009 Members' Exhibition Show & Sale, the Sketch Club assures its viewers that its contemporary cast still carries on the fine tradition. Please come and visit this collaboration by two of Philadelphia's oldest art institutions.
