Stephanie Canizares started her artistic career as a package designer and children's book illustrator. She spent her early years in Germany and France, and studied art at the Ecole Paul Colin in Paris. She has also studied with the noted watercolorist, Gerry Pierce in Tucson.

Ms. Canizares is a life member of the Art Students League and the Yonkers, Westchester, and Southern Vermont Art Association. She is an award-winning painter who has exhibited widely in solo and group shows.

Her work is included in the collections of the Hudson River Museum, Mount Vernon City Hall and in many private collections.
