Moore, Richard C.

Richard C. Moore graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in history and from Princeton Theological Seminary with a degree in Theology.  He served the United States Navy for five years in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans as line officer and later as a chaplain. 

 

Moore provided thirty ship design sketches to the Franklin Mint for the production of miniature ingots and was a Charter Member of the American Society of Marine Artists.  His paintings hang in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Museum, the National Museum of Naval Aviation, the Philadelphia Maritime Museum, the U.S. Navy Memorial, in Washington D.C. and in many private collections.
