Jean-Pierre Dubord was born in Rouen, France in 1949. His paintings of the landscape of Northern France have received many awards throughout Europe.
Since 1980, he has exhibited in the Paris Salons, notably the Artistes Francais and the Salon des Independents. His prizes and awards include the Mention d’Honneur; Salon de basse Normandie; the Medaille de la Ville de Cautelen in 1982; the Medaillle de la Ville de Yport in 1984; the Medaille d’Or, Rueil Premier Prix de Paysage; Salon de Bourges in 1985; Mention Honorable, Salon des Artistes Francais in 1985; and the Prix de Conseil general, Salon a Pontoise, 1986.
He also has had exhibitions in Rouen, Le Havre, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Paris, Quebec, and Osaka.
