Font, Paula

Paula Font was born at Valreas in 1882.  As a child, she showed a talent for drawing.  Her parents encouraged this gift by placing her under the guidance of selected teachers and by the age of twenty, she exhibited a still life at the Salon.

The young artist devoted herself entirely to the study of art.  Progressing rapidly, she exhibited each year.  Her work was frequently awarded prizes, and she is now represented in many collections, mostly abroad.

The Museum of Phoenix, Arizona has acquired one of her paintings for its permanent collection.
